If you've ever been tempted to try diving, but felt that it was too expensive or just too difficult, think again. Here at UPDUC, we can dispell those myths. To us a diver is a diver, it doesn't matter whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned diver, we have something to offer you. We welcome divers from all agencies (PADI, BSAC, CMAS etc). Our club revolves around diving but is well backed-up with a very healthy social life (as is expected from one of the biggest societies at the university).

As you may be aware, at the beginning of the 2008 academic year, UPSAC and PUD were merged to create UPDUC. As such, we now have a large society with a large pool of instructors, many of whom originally began diving at this university. Because we have so many instructors, we are able to offer diving courses at cost price, i.e. you pay for the course materials only, all the instructors give up their time for free so there is no need to pay for training.
